| 18s Finish 2006 Season with Great Success
The Island Thunder 18s finished the season at the Emerald City Classic with a fantastic performance. With the entire roster in attendance, the Island Thunder 18s won their pool on Sunday by defeating S. Sound 18 Ohana, Sudden Impact 17 Storm, and Salem 18 Black. They went on to finish 6th out of all Puget Sound Region teams in the 18 Open division. The team was excited about their finish above so many local clubs including both Sudden Impact 17s and 18s and Northwest Juniors. The team is only losing four seniors, so many of the players are excited to come back next season and continue their success. Coach Jessica Papell was extremely proud of her team and loved finishing the season on such a high note. |
