U18 Blue Head Coach: Jessica Papell

Jessica is currently the head varsity coach at the Overlake School and head coach of the 18's team at ITVC. She grew up playing volleyball in Southern California where she won a CIF Championship for the Windward School and was named the CIF Player of the Year two years in a row. She played 6 years of club volleyball and earned a full scholarship to play at Oregon State University. She went on to be a four year starter and letter winner at OSU playing outside hitter and defensive specialist and made a trip to the NCAA tournament her senior year. She was selected to the Pac-10 All Academic team in 2000 and 2001. Her coaching career began while at OSU where she coached and ran numerous camps and clinics for OSU Volleyball. She then moved back to Southern California where she was the head varsity coach at the Crossroads School and head club coach at Beach Cities VBC. She has continued to return to OSU to work with the staff there and coach camps during the summers. She is now in her 5th year as a head varsity coach and currently coaches with the Puget Sound Region High Performance Program where she works with the region's top talent and represents the region in international competition. She continues to play on a top women's club team in the region and competes in outdoor tournaments as well.

17's Under Armour Head Coach: Brooke Weitz

Brooke's volleyball career began at age 10 and was highlighted by a 4 year consecutive state championship title in high school where she earned All-State honors as a junior and senior. She later received a NCAA Division I scholarship to play at High Point University in North Carolina where she was a 4 year Millis Scholar Athlete and graduated Suma cum laude with all University Honors.

After college Brooke coached high school volleyball and basketball at the University School of Nashville from 2001-2004. She is currently in her 4th year of Naturopathic Medical School at Bastyr University and plans to focus on sports and physical medicine upon graduation. Brooke founded and coached a high school club team in Kenmore, Wa the 2006 season and continues to participate in multiple competitive local leagues. In addition to school and volleyball, Brooke works as a personal trainer in lifestyle fitness and nutrition for individuals and groups in various athletic clubs throughout Seattle. She is looking forward to continuing to learn and coach volleyball and is especially honored to be coaching with Rosie Meyn, her former 2007 assistant.

17's Under Armour Assistant Coach: Rosie Meyn

Rosie started her volleyball career at Belgrade High School in Belgrade, MT. She was named first team all state her Junior and Senior year. And, as a Senior Captain lead the Lady Panthers to a Second Place finish in the State Championship Tournament. Rosie was then recruited on a full scholarship to play at Carroll College, an NAIA school, in Helena, MT. She was a four year starter, playing both the right side and outside hitting positions. She was voted in First Team All-Freshmen her first year. While playing at Carroll, her team won four consecutive Frontier Conference Championships. She was named team Capitan her senior year. She also maintained Academic All-American status all four years. Rosie has been on the coaching staff at several collegiate and high school volleyball camps throughout her coaching career. She has coached many levels of volleyball from U-13's up to U-18's club teams. Most recently, Rosie was the assistant coach for Fusion Volleyball Club U-17's team with Brooke Weitz.

16's Under Armour Head Coach: Dave Plypick

Coach Dave Plypick is entering his 3rd season as a coach for Island Thunder Volleyball Club, where he has consistently kept his teams in the top 15 in the region. He has also spent the last five seasons as the Head Volleyball Coach at Nisqually league, Vashon Island High School. At Vashon, Coach Plypick lead the team to top 3 league finishes in every season he spent there as well as a state appearance. So far in the 2007 season his team is sporting an 11-2 record. Prior to Vashon, Coach Plypick spent 3 seasons at Foster High School where he took his team to state two out of the three seasons he spent there. Coach Plypick has a strong reputation for turning programs around which is evident by his league finishes and state appearances with teams that may have not otherwise have been so successful. Coach Plypick is also 5-Time Nisqually League Coach of the Year.

15's Under Armour Head Coach: Lynn "Robe" Roberson

Robe played basketball in his earlier days as an athlete and picked up the sport of volleyball during his last year of college. Later he became assistant coach of the Walla Walla High School and Pasco High School. While living in the Tri-Cities/Walla Walla area, he started Team Tenacity Volleyball Club. For three years, he was also Head Coach of Eisenhower Cadets, a 4A school in Yakima,WA. During summers, he was a volleyball coach as a number of University sponsored volleyball camps. Recently Robe was assistant coach as Concordia University. He currently teaches English at University Prep High School in Seattle where he also coaches Varsity Volleyball, Boys Basketball and Track and Field. For fun, Robe enjoys traveling and experiencing other cultures, playing music and just about anything athletic. His best trip so far was a trip to Africa last summer.

One fast people wouldn't guess about Robe; "I can't swim (ask the Aussies), I love landscape projects and I play the Drum set."

U14 Black Head Coach: Tiffany Ross

...grew up in Southern Oregon and attended Phoenix High school. Was a four year varsity letter winner in volleyball, softball and basketball. Received first team all conference honors in softball as a pitcher for three years as well as player of the year honors her junior and senior year. Was named to the 1st team all state volleyball team as an outside hitter her senior year. Tiffany first attended Villanova university on a softball scholarship but decided that she missed the Northwest and missed playing volleyball so she transferred to Seattle University for her junior and senior years where she played volleyball for the Redhawks. Tiffany is a psychology major at Seattle U and plans on continuing her education to receive her PHD in clinical psychology.

U13 Under Armour Coach: Juli Rinehart

...has been playing volleyball since 7th grade. She was co-captain for both her high school's varsity team (Mt. Rainier HS) and her BCC (Bellevue Community College) team, playing right side (opposite). She then transferred to WSU where she played on their club volleyball team.
She was the assistant coach for the Varsity team at Mercer Island HS last year and was the head coach for the U14s team for ITVC and the assistant coach for the U18s team with ITVC. She is currently the head coach for the JV team at The Overlake School and will return for her second season with ITVC. Her motto: Work Hard, Play Hard

U12 Blue Head Coach: Dino Annest

...is currently the Head Varsity Coach at Mercer Island HS where he also teaches. He has been successful in making the 3A State Tournament five of the last six years, placing 8th in 2004. He will be returning to ITVC for his second season as the U12s coach. He had much success last season and is expected to return many of his players.

U14 Blue Assistant Coach: Susan Rindlaub

...has been playing and loving volleyball since 8th grade. She played for 4 years on the varsity team at Mercer Island HS, where she was the co-captain her senior year when the Mercer Island HS team won the Sea-King district tournament and placed 6th in the state tournement. She took several years off from volleyball in college at UC San Diego, due to knee injuries, but is back to playing and coaching in the Seattle area. Susan coached the Mercer Island JV team in the fall of 2000 with her older sister Alison, and this year was the head JV coach at Roosevelt High School. She is very excited to join the other coaches at ITVC for a fun and exciting season!

Setting Coach: Laura Collins

...played volleyball at Oregon State University where she was a four-year letter winner as a setter. She was selected as the Pac-10 Player of the Week two times (meaning that she was voted as the best player in the entire Pac-10 that week on two occasions) and was a three-time All Pac-10 Honorable Mention selection. During her career, she was one of the top setters in the nation. Laura is currently the head coach of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Laura will be conducting a series of setting clinics throughout the club season for our ITVC setters. These clinics will be incredibly valuable to setters who wish to play at a higher level.
